Hello, hello! I haven’t done one of these since the beginning of the month, so…
- These past few weeks have been so busy. End of school is coming so I had a bunch of things due. Plus I had a bunch of design-stuff deadlines. So I’m work-free as of this week. And finals are coming.
- I went to Disneyland on Friday. And I got to see Leen & Ally which was fun. We got dinner and chatted and caused all the trouble, as per usual.
- In a few weeks, June 8th (I think!), my friends in RadioDriveBy are coming to California! I’m super stoked. Some of you may or may not know that I’ve been doing their design stuff since November and I’m so excited to see them live for the first time!
- I cannot wait for summer and hangs with all my friends and dinners where I cook all the food and Santa Monica and Palm Springs.

Hey there! Haven’t done one of these updates in a while…
- Hopeless sent over my mockups to Yellowcard’s management today. So many nerves! Keeping my fingers crossed.
- And I’ve been working on designs for The Cab, yet again. Doing typographic things for the phrase: Living Louder, Dreaming Longer, Fighting Harder, Loving Stronger. So stoked because this song means so much to so many people. Let me know if you have any ideas since this is for you guys and I want this to make you happy!
- I have a final on Friday. Its meh. I’m convincing myself I’m prepared since I did study.
- And then I’m screening more shirts this weekend. So bummed about that other batch. If you ordered one, the last of them will be finished this weekend! They’re going out alphabetically.
- Totally planning on roadtripping to everywhere with Ally and Gissane and Leen. I wanna go to Palm Springs and Phoenix and San Diego.
I know the cats know something I don’t know.

This is one of my favorite pictures from the weekend. Words don’t come close to how much I adore these girls.
I just got legit nostalgia looking at this photo. Reminds me so much of CT adventures in AZ. Crazy how the friends beside me may change, but the band continues to remain the same. Words cannot describe how grateful I am for all the amazing friendships and memories these boys have brought into my life. Happy The Cab Day my friends. :))

Hey friends! I haven’t done one of these in a while… So I figured today would be a great day to do one since I’m in an awesome mood.
- I’ve been doing a lot better of keeping up with my school work. Especially (kind of) in the classes that I don’t really like/understand (at all!). Oh, math and science. You’ll be the death of me.
- Reid and I are still working on our art collab. I’m having way too much with this in my garage. Spray paint and masking tape are everywhere. 5 x 5 canvases of everything we can think of ever.
- And finally, I think I can mention this here since no one really reads my blog, but I’m so set on design jobs! Still doing more merch designs for The Cab, and for the new ones: This Century, Anarbor, and Kevin Hammond for sure. Then the maybe’s on Paradise Fears and My Girl Friday. I’m so stoked on it all. Its completely overwhelming considering this all happened within this week.
Well, that’s really about it! And don’t you think my hair is silly!? There’s this huge bump on it and its driving me nuts today.
Since I didn’t do these little posts each day of my trip since I got so busy, I figured I’d do a little summary of what I did so I can remember!
I had a bunch of portfolio reviews. Boston, Rhode Island, then New York! I really liked New York mostly because I saw people there that I knew. Friday was probably the most fun. I got to see my boys in The Cab play acoustic which was nice. And I also saw this girl wearing a tee that I designed at the show, which was a pretty pleasant surprise! I finally met Peter which was nice and I got to see Sheri again. Then on Saturday I went shopping with Amber and my momma for a bit. Then met up with some certain boys and got lunch and such which was nice. The artwork in the restaurant was great and that made me happy. Then I left yesterday. But before that I went shopping more. Which I didn’t get to do earlier in the trip due to meetings and such. The plane ride was okay. I kind of felt sick midway through and then fell asleep and watched Corpse Bride and drew some and such.
And now I’m home with my dog and we’re in our PJ’s. Tomorrow’s my birthday. I kind of forgot since I didn’t really do much of my homework. Stressing over school things > Birthday plans.
Whelp. That’s all!
Today was great.
- I started my day out with a run through Boston Commons Park and then I found myself down in the city by some bridge and I got kind of lost but it was okay.
- Eventually, I got back and I explored some. I went to the Boston Tea Party Museum and looked around Milk Street and picked up a panini at some place.
- Then I found Granary Burial Grounds. I think its wonderful. The whole vibe of the place was wonderful. And it reminded me of this Neil Gaiman book I read a while back. I know it probably super strange, but I think it was super inspiring. The different etchings and designs and fonts used on each headstone were so aesthetically beautiful. Total love.
- Then I walked myself down to the North End since I was meeting some old family friends for dinner. I visited Paul Revere’s house and there was this great brick wall there so I snapped a few pictures to use as textures for future things.
- And for dinner, we went to this little Italian place. I got the best pasta. Ever.
- Finally, I found my way back to the hotel in the rain. (At least I had my scarf!) Then went to the gym and played on the Elliptical.
Can someone just give me permission to stay in Boston forever and ever and ever?!
So I feel like in order to document this trip, I’m going to post a bloggie-blog each day with some photos I took! Here’s Day #1 in Boston:
- I flew from LAX to Boston and it was okay. The flight was okay. I felt bad for the person next to me since I kept getting up to brush my teeth.
- I arrived around 3pm and then checked in the hotel and dropped my stuff off and started exploring. I’m super stoked since the location of it is great. There’s this beautiful park across the street and I cannot wait to go for a run in it.
- Then everyone else was tired and just stayed in the hotel, I made friends and went to this restaurant and had the best salmon of my life. It was served with fresh broccoli and sautéed spinach (of course!) and its my favorite.
- And finally, I went for another walk at night. And brought my camera. It was so chilly and I loved it. I wore my scarf and coat and gloves and my cheeks were numb but it was great.
That’s all for today! Tomorrow I’m meeting up with some family friends and we’re going to go to museums!
Hello! This is today. I just finished sewing my dress! I love it. And its super sailor-esque and it makes me happy. Surprisingly, it was pretty, despite the details and figuring out how to make the collar stiffer.
- I went to school today and it was alright.
- I got most of my homework done before I got home so I finished up my dress then I told Eli to come over and he took this picture of me and then we made dinner.
- Yay for spinach salads! (My fave.)
- And then I watched two episodes of Criminal Minds. Oh, how I love Dr. Spencer Reid.
